Easy, Breezy, Beautiful...Cover Girl
CoverGirl was founded in 1958 by the Noxzema Chemical Company (later known as The Noxell Company), launched in 1960 and was acquired by Procter & Gamble in 1989. The Noxell Company advertised CoverGirl by allowing fashion models on the fronts of magazines ("cover girls") to wear their products. CoverGirl originally offered only six products, but now has a vast array of products. The brand's largest competition is Maybelline Cosmetics.
